Robotic technology for medical procedures is a rapidly expanding market for interventional and surgical procedures. Corindus Vascular Robotics is developing a new standard of care through the development of precision vascular robotics for PCI procedures. Vascular robotics offers substantial benefits across the healthcare system spectrum from patient to physician to hospital. Corindus was founded by Dr. Rafael Beyar, MD, interventional cardiologist and Tal Wenderow. Dr. Beyar had the idea to use remote control and robotics to move vascular interventional devices while he was removed from the radiation field. Dr. Beyar was joined by Tal Wenderow to create the first prototype and together they founded Corindus Inc. The company holds 11 US and foreign patents covering various aspects of robotic catheter control and vascular intervention. There are over 25 pending applications for US and foreign locations. Corindus Inc. is currently based in Natick, Massachusetts and has successfully completed the first-in-human trial with the CorPath 200 System. Corindus continues to focus on improving patient care as they launch their US clinical trial.

Based on proprietary, innovative reconstruction algorithms technology, Wide-Beam Reconstruction (WBRTM), the Company's imaging solutions to lower radiopharmaceutical doses, shorten acquisition times, and increase image resolution.
